My Top 10 Tweets

“Tweet, tweet, tweet” is supposed to be a bird’s sound and used to name for Twitter. The name has the blood of the bird that deliver the messages all over the world. To be honest, it is my first time truly to use Twitter to post. Thus I am going to analyze top 10 Twitters that I post during January 22nd to April 26th.

1—Ranking No.1, the crown to the most influential tweets I post was about #NoMakeupMonday in April 4th, which received 185 expressions and 18 engagements. To be frank, I didn’t expect that the tweet could have 9.7% engagement rate. It seems like people prefer makeup free than those who is pretty in heavy makeup.

Fun fact: #NoMakeupMonday is a trendy and hit hashtag in Monday and I can see it every Monday.

 

2—Let’s reveal the silver prize to “save the earth”. Impression: 154; Engagement:7 and engagement rate is 4.5%. I used three hashtag—#EarthDay, #ThinkForests and #ClimateChange and it happened to meet the Earth Day.

 

3—The Bronze prize to weather changing from fall to winter. The dramatic contract between red leaves and white snow attracted 125 impressions, 1 engagement and 0.8 engagement rate. I attached two pictures to stress how it the weather changed in the same place. So Chill!

 

4—#mondaymotivation. Impression: 104; Engagements: 1 and engagement rate 1%. I attached a picture and wrote an inspiring sentence.

5—Farewell to spring break got 99 impressions, 6 engagements and 6.1% engagement rate.

 

6—Repost a repost about Instagram becoming a new star in ads, which received 92 impressions, 2 engagements and 2.2% engagement rate.

7—Using the current topic, Ariana’s new album was ready to release within 24 hours, which earned 92 impressions.

8—Making an explanation film and posted though Twitter draw 91 impressions, 1 engagement and 1.1% engagement rate. I attached a video via Youtube.

 

9—Impressions: 90. Engagements: 2. Engagement rate: 2.2%.

Fun fact: The presidential election attracts worldwide attention and keep this hashtag alive even in Thursday.

 

10- The delicious lobster roll sold 87 impressions, 8 engagements and 9.2% engagement rate.

PS: People can’t resist the love for food.

Generally speaking, my twitter followers increase 14 people during the period and my Klout score also rises nearly 50%, which credited for regular tweeting each week and involved in hot topic with the digital platform. In addition, using various hashtag to look for those who have same topic with me, which enhance the engagement rate.

  1. #nomakeupmonday was a really good one and I have a feeling the Central Park one received more engagements because that’s the only tweet that had a geo-locater on it and since it’s Manhattan, more people would have seen it, possibly.
