Am I older THAN you or THEN you? Did I wash my hands THEN or THAN dry them? Then vs. than is one of the most common and grammatical errors, because they sound exactly the same. It’s a common mistake, but it’s easy to remember!

  1. I definitely have to run this through my head whenever I write than or then, and it’s pretty important since I’m a writer. Nice little fun video here and that’s exactly what these should be!

  2. You have no idea how many times I have struggled with this! What a great idea for a how to video. You could even make it into a series with every common grammar mistake that people have trouble with.

  3. I’m so glad that you went over this! The English language is difficult and this is one of the many reasons why. I never thought of using that type of way to learn the difference between the two.

  4. As an English major, I love this video. So many people do not know how to differentiate the differences between the two, so I’m glad you made a video and took the time to explain the differences as well as giving a tip to understand when to use Then versus Than. Great job!
