I wanted to investigate the wide spectrum of opinions and tweets circulating the Twittersphere about President Donald Trump. As expected, #Trump yielded a vast range of both positive and negative opinions on the President spanning numerous political issues. I tried my best to offer up the most representative and diverse sample of these tweets.
Beginning with the pro-Trump tweets, we see the common theme of criticizing the news media through hashtags such as #FakeNews. We then see someone criticizing the President’s Democratic opposition followed by a supporter defending Trump against the attacks of other Republican party members.

As for this set of anti-Trump tweets, you can see that the opposition is quite passionate. The first message addresses a whole slew of policy topics while putting forth a call to action. The second and third tweets question how President Trump is in office given the recent career-ending controversy of Matt Lauer’s alleged sexual assault and the President’s latest retweet of a Nazi propaganda group from the United Kingdom.
