The Masters (If You’re Not A Golf Fan, Move On)

Each year, the Masters is one of the most anticipated tournaments of the entire season.  Although the U.S. Open is arguably a better tournament on both the difficulty and excitement scale, the Masters marks the beginning of the major season, making it just as much fun to watch.

Over the pasts few seasons, Jordan Spieth has made Augusta seem like his “home” course, winning in 2015 and finishing T-2 in his other two appearances (despite blowing up on hole 12 to ruin his commanding lead in 2016).  Spieth continues his dominance this year, finishing -4 on Saturday, putting him two off the lead going into Sunday–prime position to work his Jordan magic and bring home his second green jacket.

Spieth certainly has his fan base, and I’ve got to say, I’m on board; however, it would be wrong to ignore Rickie Fowler (who I also love), Justin Rose, or Sergio Garcia coming into the final round.

The leaderboard is truly building to something special.  The Masters is golf at its finest, and those that don’t agree I hope would have stopped reading already.

Who will don the coveted green jacket?  Like this guy…

…I’m not leaving my couch until I find out.
