Overall, I think that my marketing plan worked and helped get me to my goals. With that being said, I think that I could have done more to be more successful. I don’t think that twitter ads was the most effective channel for success for me personally. I don’t have many followers, and even after spending the $5 I only had 47 engaged viewers and 1 more view on my meme. I looked into it and I saw that I could have actually advertised on Imgur in a similar way. I think this would have been a more effective use of my money since I think most of my engagement came from Imgur users.
I do believe I was successful though, and overall I am happy with how my viral content challenge went. I received 577 views which surpassed my hopes of 500! If I were to do this again, I would take a similar approach, but just focus my efforts more on Facebook and Imgur rather than twitter.
