Jim Delligatti invented the Big Mac sandwich 50 years ago. He recently passed away on November 28, 2016. The post was inspired by taking viewers down memory lane to see inventions/events that occurred after the burger was added to the McDonald’s menu.
The main objective of this campaign is to promote an original piece of BuzzFeed content to a large audience in order to engage users and go “viral.”

What Worked and What Didn’t
Worked: Using Twitter Advertisements allowed me to gain addition impressions on my content. For only $5 I was able to get 4,100+ impressions. If I were to put more money into the campaign, I bet I would’ve seen even better results. I also had a few people either retweet or favorite my Webcard, which was helpful in getting clicks.
Didn’t Work: Ultimately, the content fell short of hitting my 150 clicks goal. I could have tried to make the content more engaging.
