The COVID-19 “curve” is finally flattening and the question that has been floated across the media and government is when will the United States economy be re-opened? President Trump and Anthony Fauci have had different opinions on this matter so let’s take it to Twitter to see what the public thinks.
Fauci is now saying that had Trump listened to the medical experts earlier he could've saved more lives.
Fauci was telling people on February 29th that there was nothing to worry about and it posed no threat to the US public at large.
Time to #FireFauci…

Like others, DeAnna Lorraine has claimed that Dr. Fauci originally downplayed the COVID-19 crisis and told the public not to worry back at the end of February. In addition, she claims that President Trump followed the advice of experts as the top expert in the U.S. claimed that there was nothing to worry about.
Jan: Fauci told us it was no threat to Americans
Feb: Fauci told us to continue going to gyms, malls, and the movies
Mar: Fauci said going on cruises was OK
He’s been wrong every step of the way and is now blaming @realDonaldTrump for his failures. #FireFauci

Dr. #AnthonyFauci is NOT an economist. NOT a businessman. NOT president. And his #Coronavirus projections were way off!
So why is the MSM treating him as the authority on how to reopen the country & run the economy??#Fauci is a political tool & can’t be trusted. #FireFauci

Dr. Anthony Fauci on February 8th: 'Danger of getting coronavirus now is just minusculely low'. No wonder people are calling for him to be fired. https://t.co/dmDnkgx1uK #FireFauci

Lorraine isn’t the only person to criticize Dr. Fauci. Many GOP senators and politicians supported the #fireFauci. On the other end of the spectrum, many praise Dr. Fauci on Twitter and credit his long list of accomplishments, which include work with infectious diseases and vast Federal health experiences.
Fauci:
– Twice awarded honorary Ph.D. for his work in infectious disease
– Worked with 5 presidents (non-partisan)
– Presidential Medal of Freedom recipient (GW Bush)
– So much more…Trump:
– Reality TV guy
– Dozens of failed businesses
– Not a medical expert— Brandon Kelly (@absolutdeno) April 13, 2020
Dr Fauci is the best thing we have to beat the #coronavirus pandemic. We need to fire Trump NOW. Over 20k dead on his hands. #FireFauci #FireTrump

Overall, we do not know if the #fireFauci a political debate or a social injustice. However, it’s clear that the sooner we stop the spread of COVID-19, the sooner the U.S. economy can be re-opened.
