April is a stressful time for Syracuse University students. Finals are around the corner,ย it’s crunch time to finalize internships and jobs, and the most stressful part of it all: Block Party tickets go on sale. Some students are lucky enough to live above the fray, and go through a purchasing process that most of us will never understand:
Tickets purchased for #BP2016 to see @TheChainsmokers! Thank you to @universityunion for organizing such a fantastic lineup. #NHsmc #Cuse

Even those of us who find such luck understand that this is not the norm:
Shout out to @brittanyylindoo for being the real MVP & getting those #BP2016 tickets while I was struggling at my internship ๐๐พ

I think I got floor tickets for #BP2016 but something must be wrong because I never get anything that quickly

However, most of us live in the land of never updating Ticketmaster searches and questionable morals:
We still out here waiting for that #BP2016 floor ticket, @universityunion.

.@universityunion Getting tickets for #BP2016 is like being a tribute in the Hunger Games.

To those of you still searching, my heart is with you. Don’t give up.

This is so relevant! You’ve definitely picked a topic that your audience is interested in and I think you’ve structured the view points well. I would have loved to see more of the people who were upset about not getting floor tickets (although I’m not sure if any of those tweets were PG). Thinking outside of a conflict binary can sometimes help strengthen your point. Also, good work on the title!
Ugh I can really relate to this. Unfortunately I didn’t get floor seats, but GA in the 100 level wasn’t so bad!
Loved how you picked a topic that every Syracuse student can relate to! It was insane how much people were willing to spend for a floor ticket! Good choice for a hashtag!
