Objective
The objective of this marketing plan was to create a strategy that would promote an original meme so that it could become viral content.

Twitter Ad’s Engagement
Analyze the Campaign
This campaign exceeded the goal of 100 views. The promoted twitter web card and sharing the meme via Facebook were the most successful in increasing views and generating clicks on the link to Imgur. Sharing the link to the meme right from my twitter to my followers was not really successful in any capacity because I have a very small follower base and once they saw it once they didn’t click on it again even though I was tweeting it in different ways. Tweeting the meme link at users who were likely to identify with it or enjoy memes was mildly successful, and some of the accounts even liked the meme.
Overall this campaign showed the importance of a strong follower base. It is really difficult to get initial engagement but after it starts garnering interest other people jump on the band wagon. For this reason, promoting the tweet earlier in the campaign (rather than later like I did) would most likely help to jump start that initial engagement and increase the overall number of views despite the type of follower base you may or may not have.
Final Engagement Number: 144 views
