All the money goes to a great organization for the immediate needs and the recovery efforts for the #CampFireParadise

Using the hashtags #retweet4good, #CampFireParadise, #ButteStrong, and #payitforward, Rodgers leveraged his celebrity status to support an amazing cause. In fact, Rodgers himself pledged to donate 1 million dollars to support the victims affected by the fires. Unfortunately, Rodgers has been called in the media for his estranged relationship with his family, which amongst the tragedy of the California Wildfires came to the forefront of Twitter.  Jordan Rodgers, Aarons brother, chimed on Aaron’s call for support reminding users of Rodger’s family relationship.
PLEASE DONATE, SPREAD AWARENESS & SEND LOVE.
But when your own Mom is home alone during the fires, car packed ready to evacuate, & you miss the fundamental first step of compassion; calling your parents to make sure they are safe….
Everything else just feels like an act. https://t.co/glzDfqwsKz

Jordan prefaced his tweet by reminding people to still donate to the cause but felt it necessary to call out his brother for being “fake”. After this public display of family issues combined with the urgent need for support in California, many on twitter felt a need to chime in.
Ugh…as a @ChicagoBears fan, it pains me to side with @AaronRodgers12 on anything. But, he is right about the need for folks to step up and help those affected by the California wildfires. Please watch and retweet using #retweet4good

The jealousy of Luke and Jordan Rodgers runs deep. Their true colors showing on a day where their brother makes a one million donation to #CampFire victims. Such a bad look

BREAKING: Jordan Rodgers is a self-centered, money-hungry, miserable human being who will do anything to tarnish the reputation of his brother, the sole reason anyone outside his friends and family ever knew his name, even when he is raising MILLIONS for a good cause. pic.twitter.com/x9S9wieF66

THIS MAN JUST DONATED $1 MILLION DOLLARS! Forget Jordan Rodgers.I donât care what happens in his family life. Thatâs between him and his family. Whatâs more important is whatâs going on inCA and the millions upon millions of dollars his simple RT is going to raise! #retweet4good pic.twitter.com/IAOYjat0Ju

Overall, many dismissed Jordan’s comments and supports Aaron for his kindness and raising of awareness. While there may be truth in Jordan’s statement the social media world wanted to focus more on family relationships rather than personal family issues. Hashtags for #teamrodgers and those in support of wildfire relief triumphed on twitter.
