Following the controversial 2016 Election, some citizensĀ of blue California have called for the state to secede from the United States. The hashtag #CalExit has been the foundation of a huge debate on whether the 6th largest economy in the world should try to become their own state or even join Canada.
On one side, Californians are protesting in the streets and using the hashtag to rise together in support of the #CalExit.
Seriously. What are the steps to make this possible??? We must secede!! #Calexit

#CalExit Let's go. The US might be broken, but we're not. California is the 6th largest economy in the world. We can make it on our own!
