Do we miss #KimKardashian?

After the Paris robbery and Kim Kardashian’s subsequent absence on social media, the Twitter world has some things to say.

Clearly, there are some opposing views on the event. Kim’s fans have been tweeting messages offering their support and saying things such as “I miss you”, “Get well soon”, and “Please come back”. Most people cannot imagine being held at gunpoint in a foreign country while jewelry worth millions of dollars is stolen from your hotel room, therefore they are extremely saddened and sympathetic.

The other view is that Kim Kardashian actually staged the entire thing as some kind of publicity stunt. Reports have surfaced alleging that Kris Jenner wants to make the robbery into a movie, which just sounds weird since it was supposedly a traumatizing event for Kim and the entire family.

The world may never really know the true intentions of the Kardashian family.

  1. It is interesting to see how much attention has been brought to surround Kim Kardashian. She is a public figure, a celebrity, but also a human being like us. She has stirred a lot of controversy in the past, along with the rest of the Kardashian family. However, what happened to her in Paris was absolutely horrible. I look forward to her return on social media, but until then, all we can really watch out for is her appearances on Keeping Up With the Kardashians on E!

  2. Braeden- As embarrassing as it may be to admit I am a huge Kim Kardashian fan and I have been desperately waiting for her return! Whenever things seem to be going “normal” for this family, another dramatic event occurs! My friends and I have been anxiously waiting to see what Kanye’s recent hospitalization means for their relationship. It is crazy how a celebrity like Kim can create so much controversy over social media. I definitely do not think the robbery was fake because Kim was too in love with social media (and herself) to completely stop posting. It has been months now and still no sign of her. I guess we will have to wait and see! One thing we can all agree on is that the Kardashians sure do know how to keep people talking about them!

  3. I read somewhere that Kim Kardashian loses $2 million a month when she is not active on social media. Incredible right? This story is interesting and is still getting a lot of media coverage. I think what happens after she returns from the spotlight will say a lot about what actually happened that night in Paris. My bet is that she will do a sit down interview on TV and make mega dollars on it. But, hey, that’s showbiz.

  4. This makes me wonder how much of a spoof all of the Kardashian’s lives are. Granted I have seen documentaries on the Kardashian business and how each of the girls has developed their own product lines which I greatly respect, but with this issue being so much of a toss up I wonder how ‘real’ their show actually is. With the recent news surfacing that Kim wants a divorce from Kanye since he’s gone into rehab, I’m curious to see if it’s legitimate. I wouldn’t put it past her to fake the entire story for more news coverage because what are the Kardashian’s without drama!
