Recently, HBO came out with a new mini-series called Big Little Lies and it was considered to be a hit. The show, based off of the book, Big Little Lies, by Liane Moriarty, starred Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman, Shaliene Woodley, and Laura Dern, just to name a few of the incredible and powerful women who appeared in the show.

Everyone was raving about how amazing the show was and after it ended many viewers wanted more. For the viewers, seven episodes was not enough and so they took the social media to try and push for another season.

However, some people disagreed with the idea of adding another season because of the notion that part of its allure was it was a one-time thing. For them, some of its appeal is that it is a mini-series because it makes it less complicated and creates a clearer message.

After seeing everyone’s reaction to the show, author Liane Moriarty decided to speak out about her thoughts on a second season. She has been thinking about what a second season would look like and explained that if she were to write one there wouldn’t be a book just the show, again, a departure from the original concept from which the show is based.
