The Viral Content challenge was exactly that, a challenge. I had a lot of fun making the meme and asking my friends about what they thought. I set some objectives and accomplished a few of them. I did get people to like it on Facebook and on Twitter, not very many but still a couple. I got 194 views on Imgur and 139 engagements on my promoted tweet by the end. It was interesting to see how much the Twitter Ads helped my impressions and engagement. I personally thought the meme was funny and I know some of my friends did too, but maybe I would have made it a color picture or a photograph because people connect more with photo than drawing I think. I also would’ve spent the whole $5 because it would’ve helped. I also might have posted a few more times, and I also wish I had more followers on Twitter, and because I just made the account for this class, I think that set me back. I’m glad that I chose a topic that is broad and I know a lot of people can relate to as opposed to a specific niche joke. Overall I thought it was a really interesting challenge and I got more views than I actually expected.
