#israelunderattack

On November 12, 2019 Israel was attacked with over 200 rockets from militants in the Gaza strip. The rockets came after Israel confirmed the killing of top Islamic Jihad leader, Bahaa Abu al-Ata in an air raid at his home in Gaza city. Israel’s Defense Force tweeted on November 12 announcing that they had successfully targeted and eliminated Islamic Baha Abu Al Ata. According to IDF, Baha Abu Al Ata was a leader in the hundreds of terror attacks carried out against Israeli soldiers and civilians. The hashtag #israelunderattack has been trending for twitter users and the ones affected to express their feelings about the attacks on Israel.

The militants in Gaza strip then fired many rockets on Israel, targeting cities and civilian homes. The rocket fire forced almost a million Israelis to seek refuge in bomb shelters forcing all schools to close.

According to IDF, the rockets are being fired at Israeli towns and cities after almost every 7 1/2 minutes. The rockets have been fired at Israel almost continuously since 5 am on November 12 and are still going on today.

The following tweets are against #israelunderattack and don’t believe that people should be supporting them. They are arguing who is the real victim.
