On April 15th, 2018 Kanye West returned from his twitter hiatus with a storm of tweets. The tweets ranged from inspiration messages, to news of his new music coming out, news on his yeezy clothing line, calling out people, and most influentially tweets supporting trump. He immediately gained backlash from the public and fellow celebs about his outburst. Some saying he was doing this so called tweet storm to gain attention to sell more music and some were outraged he would support Trump in this way. Kim Kardashian jokingly responded back to some of his tweets and he also commented that she called him to make him make it clear that he did not support all aspects of Trump’s presidency. But still the heat has remained and the tweets are continuing.
So #KanyeWest can’t have an opinion opposite than yours? All these famous artists unfollowing him are PROOF that in today’s society, when you disagree with someone, you cut them off. There is no conversation or listening to gain understanding. I myself am guilty of this at times.

The above and below tweets is in support of Kanye voicing his opinions.
#KanyeWest has now become Public Enemy #1 on the left. His crime? He formed his own opinion.
The #left has used blacks for decades & they attack blacks when they step off the reservation, which he did.

All these people saying how great it would be for Kanye to be President a year ago, I think they better rethink 😂 #KanyeWest

I’ve thought #KanyeWest was a rude, selfish, narcissistic idiot ever since that night he grabbed Taylor Swift’s award from her. I think the reason Kayne West likes #Trump is because the Donald is an even bigger narcissistic buffoon than him. #TwoPeasInAPod 🤢 #BirdsOfAFeather 💩

Watching White Nationals try and embrace #Kanye because he likes Trump while omitting the fact that they march with torches calling for his blood is … gross. #KanyeWest needs help, not retweets. pic.twitter.com/dKWIgGJsgs

People have reached out to Kanye telling him to use his powerful voice in a better way but Kanye has made it clear he intends to continue with freedom of speech.
