Sysomos demonstrated that the trend took off in early November, peaking on November 5th with over 800,000 interactions on Twitter.
Tweets about the challenge involve overall positive language and occasionally references to popular groups taking on the challenge, such as the Pittsburgh Steelers whose video went viral recently.
The trend has swept the nation with many people taking on the challenge like Steve Aoki at a concert and the Medal of Freedom winners at the White House ceremony.
