Twitter Ads Engagement & Spend:
Analysis:
Throughout this campaign, there were strategies that lead to success and others that resulted in failure. My initial post on twitter did not yield many views and seemed as if it were a failure, yet once I utilized my ad spend and targeted the proper pages, which relayed to a proper audience, I was able to find success on the platform. As my meme had to do with materialistic people and their ability to mostly care only about money, I thought there would be no better way to target these individuals then through accounts such as; Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Armani and many others. After utilizing my ad spend and targeting the proper individuals within regards to the content, success was finally able to be seen through a major uptick in impressions and engagement. I ran my campaign on April 4th, and was able to receive 2,355 impressions and 108 total engagements on the post. Upon completion of the campaign, I was able to receive 350+ views on my meme, but I had not yet utilized the likes of Facebook and Instagram to push out the content. Through Facebook, I was able to post a status, including a brief explanation, and that led to more engagement as many clicks were tallied. Unlike Facebook, Instagram was not as beneficial to my success as I posted a link on an Insta story, and it received minimal engagement. After using the likes of all social media platforms and a $5 spend on Twitter Ads, my meme reached the benchmark of 500 views on the Imgur platform. Although some platforms resulted in marginal success and others could be deemed more successful, each played a vital role in pushing out the content to a distinct audience.
