Apple’s decision to remove the 3.5mm headphone jack that has been a feature in all its previous models has been faced with unexpected backlash, especially on social media. Users are not a fan of the new and allegedly ‘innovative’ technology that allows more space on the internal hard drive. Apple has stood by its decision to move forward with this new design despite the controversy and the notion that the customer is always right.
I miss my headphone jack 😓 #iPhone7

One user even compared the iPhone 7 to the exploding Samsung Galaxy, hinting that may be a better option than Airpods headphones.
People are still choosing the explosive #Samsung over the #iphone7. How bad are these wireless headphones?

Already annoyed after a week.. I want to charge and listen to music on my #iPhone7 at the same time. And i don’t want wireless headphones.

Ready for takeoff✈️. Headphones I grabbed don’t work with #iphone7. Thanks for fixing something that wasn’t broken @Apple 😣

Fear not! There is some good feedback out there for the Airpods headphones debacle.
Apple’s new AirPods may look weird, but they work great https://t.co/Uq4FCRJhBU via @WSJ @geoffreyfowler #Apple #iPhone7 #AirPods

Although the reviews seem to be overwhelmingly negative, it looks like the best way to see who’s right on this one is to try the Airpods ourselves. Apple store, anyone?
Zoe- loved seeing all of these tweets about the new change in Apple headphones. I think this is a great representation for the general feelings towards the headphones. Some people you talk to love them and are super excited about it, while others hate the change and may not conform simply to make a stand and stick with their old headphones.
Zoe! This is a good representation of feelings toward Apple’s newest innovation. One of the biggest complaints that I’ve seen is that people are constantly losing the wireless buds. I wonder if Apple will go back and re-add the headphone jack on the next version.
