In this viral content challenge, my objective was to effectively circulate my meme:
and generate traffic and engagement on Twitter. In this campaign I found that posting at specific times were better than others and received more engagement. Due to the audience I was trying to reach, the later posted tweets did better than tweets posted midday.
I also learned from this project that cross promotion has the most benefits. If I would have promoted my content across other platforms such as Facebook and even Instagram, I believe that I would have reached a larger audience than the 24 views I was able to attract. This may also have to do with the amount of followers I currently have on Twitter.
The next time around I will be sure to build up my Twitter following more before promoting any content I hope to go viral as well as take full advantage of promoting across platforms.
