OBJECTIVE
Reach 2,000 views on Imgur link
IMGUR MEME
I created this meme to be seasonally relevant as well as being relatable to college students. The first time I had seen this photo of Megan Markle looking at Prince Harry, I thought to myself that a good meme could be created of this; this was the perfect time to create it!
TWITTER WEBCARD
Did anyone else get a candy-filled care package from their mom last week? #NHsmc https://t.co/cVAQZ1MhoI

This is the tweet I put out that I promoted through the use of Twitter Ads. I wanted to allude to a care package of candy because Halloween/”Halloweekend” was the week before. This is a good time to create a meme about receiving care packages because Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah and other holidays are coming up as well. Many college kids are receiving care packages around this time. One thing I wish I had done differently was put out a tweet and asked if people were expecting a Thanksgiving care package before break.
TWITTER ADS ENGAGEMENT & SPEND
ANALYSIS
For my campaign, I targeted locations including Boston, New York City and Syracuse. I intentionally targeted cities with lots of college students. I was expecting more engagement than 127 impressions and 10 link clicks because I curated the campaign to reach more people that were prone to clicking on the link. However, if I could do it again, I would add more hashtags to reach a wider audience. For social media campaigns I may conduct in the future, I will tweet the link out more and encourage others to “retweet if you can relate” to get more engagement. Although my objective was to receive 2,000 views, I noticed that the views essentially plateaued after about 4 days from when I uploaded it to Imgur. Additionally, the majority of views it had received were in the first 48 hours.
