Twitter Ads Engagement and spend:
I spent a total of $5 on Twitter ads with a daily budget of $2 for 758 promoted impressions and 51 promoted engagements.
AnalyzesÂ
I found that sharing to the Imgur community was a crucial starting point to the campaign. I got a lot of views the first day I shared to the community and then over the week would gain the majority from Twitter. On Twitter, I used hashtags related to graduation, college and senior year combined with a hashtag related to the day. I did find myself reusing a lot of the same hashtags in my tweets so in the future I would want to brainstorm more so I could gain a bigger reach. I found the most challenging part of this assignment was using links to Imgur on twitter instead of a picture of the meme itself. Â I realize that in the future I should brainstorm more ways to encourage people to actually click the link to Imgur from a tweet. I also posted my meme on Facebook where it seemed to do well. I even had some shares of the meme but again it seemed the engagement on the Facebook post itself was higher than the click-through rate of the meme. This assignment made me comfortable creating promoted tweets and encouraged me to think of more engaging ways to use social media. I am confident that with these skills I have learned IÂ will be more prepared for future social media campaigns.
Final engagement:Â
I received 512 views on my Imgur post. My tweets organically generated 1,021 impressions with 75 total engagements and through the promoted tweet got an additional 758 impressions with 51 link clicks. That brings the twitter total to 1,799 impressions and 126 engagements. I passed my objectives of 500 for both Imgur and Twitter.
