The United States Democrat-led House of Representatives is currently leading an investigation on President Donald Trump, sparking from the Ukraine Affair. With many allegations and evidence being held against the president, many Americans are unsure as to how they see the situation playing out as the end of Trumps term rapidly approaches. An updating calculation of both the amount of support and opposition to the impeachment itself shows that the nation is nearly divided in half.
While some Americans are supportive of the Impeachment investigation and foresee it being successful…
if @realDonaldTrump and the Republicans don't like the #impeachment process Democrats are using, they need to look and the mirror because they're the ones who wrote the rules in the first place. I write for @NBCNewsTHINK @NBCNews https://t.co/oQNnJs9xAW

This juxtaposition highlights for me just how self-serving and sniveling team Trump's hyperbolic rhetoric about #impeachment is. It's not the most serious thing that could happen to a president. It's the logical and proportionate response to a president who is unfit for office. pic.twitter.com/l95A0BcPkB

Others are much more opposed and do not see great success for their country coming out of this situation…
2020 prediction: The #Tump #Impeachment will fail due no evidence of substance & he will run against @HillaryClinton who will lose AGAIN! Even if @TheDemocrats ramped up their #VoterFraud to the point where #Clinton won, she will also be #impeached! https://t.co/huKFdE2IDI

The electoral system determines whether or not a candidate is unfit for office. Tump has been considered to be qualified. An #impeachment is no electoral review and therefore the wrong tool. To prevent lunatics from standing in the future a constitutional amendment is required.

#Impeachment totally sucks. Itβs going to muck up American life & exacerbate our great divide. Nobody is changing their minds. Itβs a shit show.

Though it is both obvious and reasonable to assume that the majority of Americans pro-impeachment are registered Democrats, nearly 50% of registered Independents are also in favor. With the timeline of the #Impeachment process unfolding, social media is becoming a communal outlet for conversation and political commentary.
