Hi Meredith! As someone who is from New Jersey, I really enjoyed hearing some of the things that people from Boston say. I love being at Syracuse and being surrounded by so many different people and learning why they use certain words. Maybe next time I am in Dunkin Donuts in NJ, I’ll refer to it as Dunkies and see if people turn around!
Hi Meredith! Seeing the title of this blog, I absolutely loved watching this video. Especially being from the Massachusetts area, but originally born in Texas, moving to Massachusetts introduced me to a lot of new words that I swore I would never say. Yet, here I am wicked excited about this video because it is so relatable. This was such a clever video and I enjoyed how it felt like a personal video that a lot of people could relate to.
