The “overperforming” topic we choose to cover Applebee’s Dollaritas because it is timely as the deal occurring this month. Additionally, it provides utility to our audience of the one dollar margarita special for those of them who may not know about it. After researching the topic, we found that there large amount of backlash the recipe was receiving from the public, including an employee leaking the video of the recipe online. Due to this backlash, we chose to test the recipe for ourselves because we wanted to determine the accuracy of the feedback in our own homes.
