In the case of Hulk Hogan v. Gawker, the court finally ordered Gawker to pay Hulk Hogan $115M for posting his sex tape. The opinions on Twitter divided into two parts, some think Hogan’s privacy is severely impacted and he deserved to win the money, others think many details in the case are conflicting and unclear, Hogan is dishonest and it’s unreasonable for Gawker to pay.
Some people think the court made a fair decision and Hogan deserved the money because no matter what he did, it’s his privacy and as American citizen, he should be protected.

However, more people stand up for Gawker and I think their opinions make more sense because 1) Hogan cheated his wife and his best friend at the same time. 2) Gawker is wrong, but they don’t have to pay that much money. 3) Hogan’s racism opinions also made him unpopular. 4) Is the sex life of celebrities newsworthy or not? There is no conclusion yet.
