Down, Set, HATE!

On November 19th, the Kansas City Chiefs squared off against the Los Angeles Rams in what some would say was the best NFL football game of all time. As both teams combined for a total of 105 points in a Rams victory, football accounts and fans jumped on Twitter to express their feelings on this historic matchup. The hashtag #MNF (Monday Night Football) flooded news feeds throughout the entire night.

The following NFL Twitter accounts made sure that users understood the greatness of what just took place.

The results of the gun-slinging matchup left fans in awe and amazement.

Though most will remember this Monday Night Football game for its greatness, some people couldn’t help but feel that the game was too good to be true. In fact, there is a legitimate community of fans who believe the game was rigged by the NFL and the referees to help the Rams win.

This user (below) even believes that the natural disaster stories in Southern California had an influence on the game.

Through the hashtag “#MNF”, Twitter users were reminded that no sporting event (even the great ones) will ever be immune to a crowd of haters.
