Show US The Money

Thousands march across the country to urge Trump to release his finances. Like many of the marches and protest that took place in the past year, the idea manifested with a simple tweet.

Jennifer Taub, Law Professor at Vermont Law School, was angry when presidential adviser Kellyanne Conway said President Trump would not be releasing his tax returns because “people don’t care.” Moments later, Taub tweeted about the need for a nationwide protest to show the president that people actually do care. The tweet quickly caught the attention of many across the country.

Saturday, April 15, 2017 – Tax March

The march, organized by 70 organizations, took place in 150 towns and cities throughout the day. Protestors demanded the president release his personal returns and maintain transparency and accountability.

Senator Gillibrand along with many other politicians joined the American people in the fight for transparency.

However, Kellyanne may have been correct in her statement. Some folks actually couldn’t care less about Trump’s finances, but is it common practice for someone in Trump’s seat to do so?

The answer is, yes. On the other hand, some may wonder why Trump may be opposed to releasing his taxes. Is he hiding something or is it because those who he highly opposes “don’t pay taxes.”

Not too sure how true this statement is… But..

Trump has some major problems coming his way if he does not release his taxes. #Transparency
