In November, director Martin Scorsese’s The Irishman hit select theatres before becoming available to stream on Netflix. The movie has received a positive reception from critics, earning a 96% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes and a 8.4/10 score on IMDB. However, it’s by no means a short watch; to watch The Irishman in full, you’ll need 3 and 1/2 hours. Some believe that its more than worth it.
Martin Scorsese's "The Irishman" is one of the best films of his entire career! 3 and half hours of pure cinematic treasure! This is not so much a gangster film but more of a reflection on the decisions we make in our lives that taint our legacies. Powerful!#TheIrishmanFilm pic.twitter.com/CR1tqxZysu

Many have hailed the film as a “cinematic treasure”, praising not only Scorsese’s talent as a director but the performances of the high profile actors featured in the film, including Robert DeNiro, Al Pacino and Joe Pesci.
This @netflixfilm is well worth 3 hours and 29 minutes of your time. Fantastic stuff from Scorsese, De Niro, Pacino and Pesci, but I particularly enjoyed @StephenGraham73 as a tardy, sartorially challenged, Tony Provenzano #TheIrishmanFilm #IHeardYouPaintHouses #QuietNightIn pic.twitter.com/wPOSTj3nn6

Some even acknowledge the run time, but said it was well worth it for the quality of the film.
Took two sittings but finished #TheIrishmanFilm – Pesci is outstanding and if he's not up for a supporting actor Oscar then I'll be surprised.
No Spoilers. Make your own mind up. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Not everyone agreed, however. The film drew criticism from some users for being far too long and even boring.
#TheIrishmanFilm Overrated. this movie is so bloated. I just watched 90 seconds of “what kind of cereal do you want. Corn flakes or total” and then pesci serving it up to DeNiro. One of many instances where it could have been cut down from 3.5 hours

Others used more comedic ways to critique the run time.
