The Launch of Disney+

The Launch of Disney+ (blog post 3)

Disney+, the American subscription based streaming service was launched for the pleasure of the public on November 12th. Below are six tweets that reflect the feelings/emotions circulating its initial release and how it is performing thus far.

Positive tweets:

Overall when Disney+ was first released, people were upset with the lack of customer controls and features. For example, the first and second tweet describe how there is not a “continue watching” option like other streaming services (Netflix & Hulu). Another area where people found fault with Disney+ is when they realized their favorite childhood tv shows were not available to binge. I take it that after waiting so long for the Disney+ services it was a little bit of a let down for most people because their favorite throwback shows were not there(Cory In The House & Disney Games). On the other hand, people on Twitter raved about Disney Plus and were the first to express their positive opinions about the site. The last two tweets above show specific appreciation for the original movies/series Disney+ has created that are never before seen anywhere else.
