It’s one of the most controversial hashtags of the last two years: #MakeAmericaGreatAgain. Some people use it in support of President Donald Trump and his administration’s policies. Others use it with disdain, mocking Trump or his supporters.
Such a simple message why are so many “Americans” against it. #makeamericagreatagain pic.twitter.com/ja2QmQWzcM

That’s apparent here: @jeremyhinton on Dec. 1, 2018 used the hashtag to support Trump and question why anyone would oppose the slogan itself, “Make America Great Again.”
But others see differently.
If you want to #MakeAmericaGreatAgain, then make it a world leader in compassion. Heal hurts, instead of making more of them. Start with your own people. Adopt policy that promotes love & safety over fear & killing. Build trust & unity. Move into the future… & switch to metric!

@McTreeBear on Nov. 27, 2018 used the hashtag ironically, saying that, for a leader to be truly great, they should treat others with compassion. Trump is often accused of being purposefully decisive and unnecessarily aggressive.
To all the trump supporters enjoy it while it last because WHEN michelle obama become president it’s a WRAP yall are gonna have to go back in hiding ✌🏽😂✈️ 🇺🇸#MakeAmericaGreatAgain #MichelleObama

And @_KreTheBoss_ used the hashtag “#MakeAmericaGreatAgain” to mock Trump and support former First Lady Michelle Obama.
The hashtag, though, appears to primarily be used by the president’s supporters.
@realDonaldTrump Thank you for sticking by us.#makeamericagreatagain pic.twitter.com/4zDRgo2AAg

It’s obvious.
Just 686 days down, 775 days 11 hours remaining @Reince #MakeAmericaGreatAgain

And, heading into the election year of 2020, it doesn’t look like Trump’s slogan’s reach on Twitter will be lessening, any time soon.
