Top Tweets This Semester

I created a Twitter poll surrounding March Madness, right around the time that we made it to the Sweet Sixteen.  I had a total of 26 votes on the poll, and believe it was one of my top Tweets according to Twitter because I posted it around the peak of the tournament and used hashtags. This Tweet has my highest engagement rate. Impressions: 461 Engagement: 50 Engagement Rate: 13%

This was the first time I tried out ICYMI.  I posted about Kesha’s situation which was a hot topic on social media those few days.  By the time I posted this piece, many already knew about the situation.  This was one of my lower engagement rates, however ranked higher in my impressions because it was a hot topic. Impressions: 328 Engagement: 3 Engagement Rate: .9%

This was the first time I used Google Ngram. I embedded a screenshot of my chart along with a short explanation. I think using #Ngram got me more impressions. Impressions: 314 Engagement: 7 Engagement Rate: 2.2%

I was home with my family on Valentines day, and decided to post this video of my sister.  Tagging her got me some engagement because some of her friends saw it. Impressions: 302 Engagement: 33 Engagement Rate: 10.9%

I discussed my campaign on the wrap up post for the viral content assignment, however this is my organic activity for the original Tweet. I had some engagement from my friends and retweeted it onto my other Twitter account to try to get more impressions aside from my paid campaign. Impressions: 277 Engagement: 24 Engagement Rate: 8.7%

This was the first GIF I ever created.  I tagged Panera which may have helped with my activity. Not a very high engagement rate, but it was cool to learn how to make and post a GIF. Impressions: 269 Engagement: 7 Engagement Rate: 2.6%

This was a Twitter collage I created for class, while also promoting my Instagram travel account.  I has tagged the places in the photos to get more engagement, and gave my Instagram account a shoutout. This was one of the first time I have tried using one of my social accounts to promote another. This also helped me gain some Twitter followers from the travel community. Impressions: 266 Engagement: 16 Engagement Rate: 6%

This was one of my firsts posts of the class.  It still received more engagement than some of my later posts. I think the photo could have captured some people’s attention, along with it being in London. Impressions: 250 Engagement: 15 Engagement Rate: 6%

I Tweeted this post over spring break, showing where I was.  I tagged Game of Thrones and used several hashtags to get more engagement, along with the image from my Instagram. Impressions: 249 Engagement: 15 Engagement Rate: 6%

This was a Tweet where I created my own hashtag.  I don’t think it affected my activity much, but the other hashtags of the places in the photos might have. I decided to Tweet this collage after the success of the last one I posted. Impressions: 238 Engagement: 13 Engagement Rate: 5.5%
