Truth: Going Viral is Hard

With the conclusion of the viral content challenge, though having met my goals for the most part I noticed things I did well and things that I could have done differently In my original social media marketing plan I set goals to hit 10 retweets, 25 likes, and 4,000 impressions. What I didnt realize was that I didnt have a full understanding of how the twitter card would work in terms of counting engagement, and this skewed my predictions a little. I didnt understand that retweets and likes, while great, weren’t exactly what we would be tracking in the campaign.
