Really cool info on cinco de mayo. I thought I knew the basics, and as someone who has a birthday in May I appreciate a spring time celebration. However it is cool to learn more about the back story and actually see how much the holiday means to people. Since I don’t celebrate it in the traditional sense, I will now know the history of what I am celebrating this cinco de mayo.
Cinco De Mayo is one of the more interesting holidays, but I never realized the true historic significance behind it. Thanks for clearing up the confusion!
