Twitter Webcard:

Twitter Engagement:

Campaign Analysis:

I think that because my meme is supposed to be funny and relatable, when I made the tone of the tweet copy funny and relatable, the web card received more engagement. The organic impressions I received on tweet “Did I really need to order the nachos, cheeseburger, AND ice cream?? ” was 289 organic impressions compared to the tweet “Mondays are always hard ” was 112 organic impression.

I think that I could have done a better job with engagement on Twitter relating to my promoted post. I believe I could have been more strategic allocating the $5 throughout the week. I used all of the money in one day which is not a bad thing, but the tweet I chose to promote was tweeted out in late afternoon so it did not receive the exposure throughout the entire day. I believe that I could have done a better job with engagement it if the promotion lasted the whole day or throughout the whole week instead of just a couple of hours.

  1. Love this, and I think a Twitter audience would respond well to it. It’s funny and relatable, which are proven to be the main components of virality. “Content is key,” and I think this one hits right on the mark. Great job!

  2. I think your viral content was exactly what you intended it to be- funny and relatable. The copy for the tweet on the web card matched this. I liked how you used hashtags like #ballingoutonabudget to add to the humor! Nice engagement, too!

  3. Hi Abigail, I thought this meme was very funny and relatable. I think you did a great job at making the captions to your tweets relatable to college students, specifically. It is interesting that your promoted tweet only lasted one day. Nevertheless, It looks like the promoted post helped you receive a large number of impressions and engagement.

  4. Abbey, your meme is hysterical! So relatable. 442 engagements is great! Your caption is great too saying how you ordered all the different foods. Good use of hashtags. Over 900 views on Imgur is very impressive so I think your campaign worked! Great job.
