The Biggest Problem of the Weekend…

Objective:

By sharing the link to my meme as much as possible and having it posted for many days, I was hoping to reach at least 500 views on Imgur.com

Inspiration:

From being an avid social media user, I have come across Spiderman memes many times. For some reason, Spiderman is a popular character for people when creating memes.

One of the times I came across one (which is shown above) was when my friends and I were almost ready to call an uber. I then saw a bunch of other Spiderman memes following It but when I Saw the two spider mans’ pointing at each other, I instantly was able to think of a caption for It; which is why I chose to create It as my meme (shown below).

For my internet meme, I had some trouble receiving many views at first. Even though I sent it in many sorority/ fraternity group chats which included 50+ people for them to click on the link, for some reason the number would not increase enough. After 5 days of realizing something was not working, I decided to repost the same meme but just use different tags. I included popular tags instead of using ones that related with my meme, which I did the first time when It went wrong. I included the tags “funny”, “memes”, “Spiderman”, and “party”. Just like I did with the first meme, I shared It with multiple group chats again asking for them to view it and for them to even share It on their social media accounts. Additionally, I posted the image link on my social media accounts such as Twitter, Facebook, and even LinkedIn. I believe I got the most engagement on my meme by posting It on LinkedIn because on my LinkedIn post I got over 1,700 views, and I’m assuming many people decided to help me out by clicking on the link from there. In the end, my meme reached 532 views.
