As I will talk about later on, I found that making fun of yourself was a great way to get engagement on a tweet. It seems people like to laugh at you but in reality I think my followers could relate to me. I’ve always thought you had to be able to laugh at yourself and that’s what I was going for here.
The analytics were, 22 media views, 5 engagements, 4 likes, and 1 media engagement.
The number 6 top tweet,

This was our Twitter video assignment and being a huge sports fan I decided to show off some of the things I had in my room. It was just a simple Twitter video that was uploaded and tweeted out. I do have some very cool things in my room and I think this contributed to the success of the tweet.
Analytics wise, I had 38 media views, 31 total engagements, 15 media engagements, 4 likes, 4 replies, and 4 profile clicks.
Almost there but first number 2,

This was the creating a GIF assignment and this is where I discovered how making fun of yourself can really drive engagement. Maybe it is because a lot of my followers are in student media like me but I got a lot of love on Twitter and also outside of the classroom. People love to laugh and whenever I see this I always do.
The analytics were, 51 media views, 39 total engagements, 14 media engagements, 12 detail expands, 7 likes, 4 profile clicks, 1 retweet, and 1 follow.
