I have posted 87 tweets since the start of this class. Many of those tweets where some of the most popular and engaging tweets that I have ever been able to create. Over the semester my Klout score went from 45 up to 50 and I gained 23 followers on Twitter.

Here is a list of my top ten tweets from the semester. I will try to analyze what made each of these tweets so popular.

Impressions: 274. Engagements: 5.

This tweet gained a lot of impressions because of my followers in the Syracuse community. It also helps to have the photo attached to the link, because it drove more people to engage with the tweet.

Impressions: 221. Engagements: 27.

Michael Scott is the only answer for the number of engagements.

Impressions: 279. Engagements: 4.

This tweet had a lot of impressions, and I believe that is due to the hashtags associated with Steph Curry and the Masters tournament coming up.

This one didn’t have as many impressions or engagements, but in Sysomos this was by far my most popular tweet. By engaging with this brand my tweet gained popularity.

Impressions: 243. Engagements: 20.

I believe that this gained more engagements because of the media that was attached to the tweet. Also, the hashtags around StarWars could have boosted impressions.

Impressions: 175. Engagements: 20.

This tweet didn’t have that high of impressions, but it gained a lot of engagements because of the polling feature on Twitter.

Impressions: 175

This tweet gained popularity because of it’s timeliness around the Final Four.

Impressions: 212. Engagements: 18.

This is a very simple question, but my followers engaged with it. Twitter polling promotes engagements with tweets.

Impressions: 455. Engagements: 17.

This one gained popularity and impressions, because I had three followers that were willing to retweet it. My followers are more willing to engage with tweets that promote social change.

Impressions: 230.

This one gained impressions, because this hashtag was trending at the time.
