While searching the hashtag #secretobsession on Twitter, it was interesting to read about people’s opinions regarding this Netflix horror film starring Brenda Song. After I watched Secret Obsession, I had a love-hate relationship with it. It seemed as if the horror turned into exhilarating humor due to the overdramatized acting and predictable ending. As seen below, these individuals were not so thrilled with the film and expressed their hatred for it via Twitter.
Don’t watch Secret Obsession. It’s somewhat suspenseful but very predictable. Not scary. It’s very, very bad for a Netflix film. Disappointed in the first part of my Friday night. #SecretObession

Terrible men always fail upwards in Hollywood. How on earth did #SecretObsession get made, its literally the worst written horror I've ever watched and I've watched some bad ones. Ever second was painful to watch.

While viewing the tweets with #secretobsession, I noticed that the individuals who actually enjoyed the movie only liked it because one of the main actors was quite attractive, while the other actor was turned into a joke, as he is the star of the infamous Allstate commercial.
Watching #SecretObsession on @netflix. Not gonna lie, I’m liking this side of @Mike_Vogel.

#SecretObession is the best @Allstate commercial to date

The individuals who commented on Secret Obsession in a positive way did not actually make comments on the flow of the plot and storyline. They most likely did not even think the movie was made well, but they did enjoy the star actors.
Overall, I think I speak for most Brenda Song (but mainly Wendy Wu and London Tipton) fans that we expected her to come back with a stronger film!
wow im mad at how bad brenda song’s new movie is.
after all these years of hiatus, this is the movie she decides to pick up? 😫#secretobsession
